Rain or shine, God never fails us. 

He is always there to give us strength and capacitate us night after night. This Monday night wasn't any different and all was a success! There are days where the enemy tries to place battles and obstacles, but God is always victorious! Usually, we arrive on time to our outreach missions (7:30 pm), but this week, we were almost an hour late. It was raining uncontrollably and the traffic, well, you can imagine. Although it took us a while to arrive, we all made it there safe and were prepared to serve.

Because of the rain, we didn't set up the audio equipment and didn't have worship or word. However it was a blessing because we each had more time for fellowship. As soon as the van with the food arrived, we all stationed ourselves and started serving. We had a delicious array of food, sweets and drinks. The men and women from downtown got to enjoy a hearty plate of pasta with a tasty meat sauce. The sweets were the star of the show in my opinion! We had a spread of rice pudding; cheese danishes, glazed doughnuts and even chocolate macadamia cookies! Everyone there was so excited to hear rice pudding being part of the menu that they went to get seconds and thirds. Every night is so comforting and wonderful that we can’t wait to see what else is in store for us!
